DOMINICAN REPUBLIC - Jennifer Valdez. She exudes a statuesque sophisticated model, with some dashes of glamour delivered by an iconic Puerto Rican namesake, the celebrity surnamed Lopez. She looks like she has an inside track to the Top 24.
ECUADOR - Doménica Alessi. She didn't quite have the polish of her predecessor, the reigning Miss Supranational Andrea Aguilera and was particularly underwhelming during the Supra-Model competition. However, she polished up reasonably during the Preliminary Evaluation, but I'm not sure if that would be enough for her to at least make the initial cut.
EL SALVADOR - Naomy Montiel. Like CHILE and COLOMBIA, she fits the CLBQ mold, but didn't quite deliver the impact to be in serious contention for the Top 24.
FINLAND - Aleksandra Hannusaari. This blonde is surprisingly more polished than what we expect from representatives of this erstwhilee early-pageant-era powerhouse as of late. There are even some buzzing she could pull off a sleeper surprise. Admittedly my attention is more focused on DENMARK amongst the Nordic contingent, so I am not certain if there would be room enough for this lady to make it.
GERMANY - Luisa Victoria Malz. She makes a striking impression with her long, straight raven tresses, that there are many pageant fans and pundits rooting for her to make the Top 24. I'm joining the bandwagon as I do notice how polished she is onstage. The question now is, does she have enough mojo to go beyond and make Top 12?
GIBRALTAR - Phoebe Noble. This blonde may not be as polished or have the resources of other more polished contenders out there, but she is exuding a "refreshing" vibe that she could conceivably pull off a sleeper surprise.
GHANA - Abigail Fanna Kabirou. It's interesting how she defied the normal alphabetical order and decided to appear after GIBRALTAR instead of before. Is it because she's too intimidated by the presence of GERMANY that she doesn't want to follow her in sequence? I do agree that her concerns are justified as indeed her features are too plain and she's not as sleek as many contenders out there, and even amongst her peers from her continent. But a side of me wished she has enough confidence to carry on even if the presence of someone seemingly intimidating--much more respect is being garnered by doing that.
GUATEMALA - Andrea Zapeta. In a way, she evokes the exotic vibe of Miss Supranational 2010, Karina Padilla of Panama. But I'm not certain if there will be enough room for her in the Top 24 as this is a reasonably competitive batch.
HAITI - Tarah-Lynn Saint-Elien. She has strong communication skills that she became a Final Four finalist in Supra-Chat. She is also a polished presence with good looks, but it seems she's overshadowed by more impactful dynamos out there. Would there still be room for her to make the Top 24?
HONDURAS - Stephie Morel. In a way, she's like a taller, more slender version of GUATEMALA. Though I think I'm more impressed with the former, there is some buzz that thsi lady can pull off a sleeper surprsie.
