HONG KONG - Jo An Ma. Like CROATIA, she couldn't seem to let go of her smoky eye makeup. She's a more polished contender than the recent mediocre representatives we see from this territory, so in a way she's a worthwhile contender.
ICELAND - Helena O'Connor. It's interesting that she has a conventional and foreign surname instead of going by the patronymic name like most Icelanders do--hers is Hafþórsdóttir. Wonder she chose to go by that name? This platinum blonde possesses the classic Barbie looks and thus made a major splash and generated major buzz. She is part of a strong Nordic contingent and could make a possible play for the Top 12.
INDIA - Sonal Kukreja. Many pageant fans and pundits peg her as a crown contender, as she seems to be a complete package of looks, charisma, and communication skills. Though at tis point I think it would be overkill to see her clinch this country's third Supranational crown, she does seem to be a strong crown contender.
INDONESIA - Harashta Haifa Zara. She is undeniably a top notch contender as she delivered a very polised presence all throughout her stay in Poland. She's a Top 10 Supra-Chat semifinalist and a Top Five finalist as Supra-Influencer, but her big highlight was winning the Talent competition as she combined traditional song and dance with playing traditional instruments into an almost cohesive performance. I see her as a Top 12 shoo-in but the Asian contingent is mighty fierce this year.
ITALY - Camilla Farnessi. She's a substitute for the original titleholder, Silvana Vacaru. Wonder what caused Silvana to be replaced, as this lady is clearly not quite keeping up wit the competitive group of contenders out there.
JAPAN - Yuki Sonoda. She exudes a lot of charm, and was the only singer amongst the seven Talent finalists, performing a Japanese hit song by 1990s J-Pop icon Hikaru Utada, "First Love". She delivered good tone and almost sounded as good as the original, but she hasn't quite delivered a pitch-perfect performance for anyone to make her the winner, but she's undeniably a standout here. Would her charm be her ticket to a possible sleeper surprise and finish into the Top 24?
LAOS - Christina Lasasimma. Her male counterpart has made a huge splash, finishing in the Final Five. She is actually also making a major splash here, though not in the same heady heights as her male couterpart, but she seems like a Top 24 shoo-in wit a possible play for the Top 12.
MALTA - Shania Degiorgio. She's a pretty brunette who seems to deliver a polished presence all throughout. She is not generating much buzz but I'm rooting for her to be a possible sleeper hit.
MALAYSIA - Andreana Celly. I wonder if the reason why she opted to appear after MALTA instead of LAOS is tat she's too intimidated with the powerhouse Asian contenders that came before her? I've seen a similar situation with GHANA and with a European candidate later on. Admittedly she does pale behind those likes, but she should've had the confidence to stand on her own regardless.
MEXICO - Andrea Saenz. This CLBQ delivered fierceness that she seems to have secured her spot in the Top 24 and may even have a possible play for the Top 12. She has a significant enough following to figure in the Final Five of the Supra-Influencer challenge.
